This is a testimony from Jan C.
My husband Jim called today after meeting with his lipid specialist in Minneapolis. Once again his cholesterol numbers have significantly dropped! At the time of his cardiac arrest 20 years ago, his cholesterol was over 400. For years the number gradually went down. Two years ago it was 179 and last year, after a year of being on Vivix, it was 138. That's when his statins were cut in half. Today Jim's total cholesterol is 97.

Jim has struggled with the LDL (bad cholesterol) the most. He has a genetic condition that causes his body to produce too much of it. Originally the LDL was 240. Jim's doctor made this comment: Nobody wants to deal with the problem. They just want to take a pill to have it go away. When that doesn't happen they get upset." He and his office staff consider Jim their poster child. Jim complies and does what's needed to be healthy, and we support him.

What Jim does each day:

2. Runs 5 miles (has never missed a day of running in 20 years)

Twenty years ago, I never imagined that with 3 arteries 100% blocked and the 4th blocked 70%, that Jim would even live to see his youngest son grow up. It's good to note, too, that our three sons and I have supported all of Jim's efforts, and as a result we are healthier ourselves. Our family experience is proof that great health is primarily in the hands of the individual and the choices he or she makes. I had someone one ask me the question this morning about the differences between the 3 year luxury vacation Gold Membership and the Lifetime luxury vacation membership. At first you probably think this is very obvious. 3 yr members get their membership for 3 years and the lifetime memberships are for you lifetime, but really there is a little bit more to it than that.

3 year luxury vacation memberships you don't have the ability to give away guest passes and you are limited to how many luxury vacations you can take in a year. With a lifetime luxury vacation memberhips you have both the 3 guest passes and there is no limit to how many luxury vacations you can talk in a year. Another nice feature of the lifetime memberships is you can pass them down to your survivors. The lifetime memberships are limited to a 100 years though so you heir's can only pass it down up to a 100 years.

About a month ago Global Resorts Network came out with a special deal for people purchasing a 3 year membership. This offer is still on, but it will be $398 for hot weeks in the database instead of $298 starting April 7th. Here is the message straight from the horses mouth(GRN)!

GOLD Membership:

On March 1, our Launch Date, Gold 3 Year Memberships were sold at $1495.00 and as a launch special the price was further reduced to $1295 until May 31st. The extraordinary response to the price change has validated the new program beyond what was anticipated.

It is important to note that the commissions from sales remained the same even though the new 3 year membership sells for a regular price of $500 less. There are still two $1,000 commissions paid from every Platinum ($2,995) sale and two $500 commissions paid from every Gold ($1,495 or $1,295) sale. However, since the cost of membership was so significantly reduced the travel benefits also had to be reduced.

Instead of a Lifetime of Unlimited vacations and 3 guest weeks per year for a Platinum Membership the Gold Membership is a 3 year membership with 3 weeks of vacations per year and no guest weeks. 3 weeks of vacationing a year at the greatly reduced costs offered to our members is still an outstanding value for the average family.

While the response was very positive for the most part, there has been significant feedback from our travel partner. They feel that making the memberships more affordable on the entry level was fair and desirable except perhaps on one point - since the $298 pricing for Hot Weeks in the travel program is subsidized by the Lifetime Members' higher membership fee, the $298 pricing will be reserved for Platinum Lifetime Memberships only.

Accordingly a change is being made. The price of Hot Weeks for Gold Memberships will be $398 beginning April 7, 2007. All Gold Memberships with confirmed payments prior to April 7, 2007 are unaffected by this change. They will continue to pay $298 for the Hot Weeks since that was the price advertised when they joined. Only new members starting on April 7 are affected. Of course, once the new Gold Members from April 7 and onward upgrade to Platinum they will enjoy the lower $298 price for the Hot Weeks.
